Your Net of Love

How much of your life contains joy? How much joy do you emanate? How much joy do you feel? How much joy is available to you at any time?

If your answer contains a heavy load of it depends on my circumstances, I would venture to reply that your circumstances do not - and should not - carry the responsibility for your joy or lack of it. If they do, you will never be free, because you understand that what is external to you can not be in your power, or only occasionally, but what is internal to you can be, should be, and perhaps already is ... in your power. This means that you have accepted responsibility for your inner state of being at all times. This means you have opted to live an aware life, because without awareness you simply can't take on such responsibility.

Another aspect of this is that your joy may be contagious to others. Or at the very least, they may feel great desire to also be able to experience such joy. In effect, this means that ultimately your joy has the opportunity to create joy for others. This is such a gift. It was Mother Teresa who said: joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. Let's go catch ourselves some souls today ...

From the Description on Amazon: Ask anyone, whatever their circumstances, if their life is vibrant, fulfilling, harmonious and happy. An honest reply is likely to be 'no', because to answer a truthful 'yes' is no mean feat. Only to grow psychologically and emotionally is not enough. And only to grow spiritually is not enough either. All three dimensions need to be developed in order to realize your full potential. If you are willing to assume total responsibility for the self and to start what is an on-going journey, you will quickly begin to glimpse the first fruits of the ultimate goal: inner well-being, freedom, peace, harmony and joy. This book sets out the pathway to self-mastery and self-discovery and walking that pathway will be the most exciting adventure of your life.
