Are Clouds Affecting You?

Clouds in our life don't just appear with inclement weather, obviously. Any life worth living, has its fair measure of the sort of cloud that may cause us to believe that things are hopeless and bleak. Clouds may appear in the guise of financial difficulties, health issues, the pain that love occasions, or any number of other clouds. But here's the thing: what happens after the clouds show up in your life - and especially what happens inside of you - is actually of greater importance than the cloud itself.

Your initial reaction to a cloud may be one of dismay, fear, anger, or any other negative emotion. Such a reaction is human. It's normal. We understand it. But this reaction can be - if you so choose - very brief, if you then decide that your main priority is not to continue with the reaction, but to regain some measure of inner balance. Such a decision would mean that for the next few minutes you would be maintaining some kind of inner dialogue in order to regain this inner balance, and you would also - hopefully - be making good use of some of the 'muscles' you have created since starting to read this blog: muscles that allow you to remain very aware at all times, and very conscious of the fact that your inner well-being is your responsibility. Your inner well-being lies in your hands and not in the outer circumstances of your life.

There is much material on this blog that will help you move in this direction, if you so choose.

And of course, for much more about all these subjects, as well as becoming aware of your inner self, and of transforming the way you look at and live your life, have a look at my book Rewiring the Soul: Finding the Possible Self (paperback or Kindle).
