Does What You Do Today Lead You to a Goal You Care About?

Each day you live (at least from this point forward) if you really want to reach that goal or those goals that you care about, will need to be invested in getting you a bit further down that road.

Impossible, you say. What I really want to do is not what I am currently doing to make a living. So I can't invest my day in getting closer to my goals because I have to spend all day at my job. But you can, you see. Perhaps you can't spend your entire day moving in that direction, but you can spend a bit of it. Maybe you'll sign up for an online course, or one at your local community center or community college. Maybe you'll beef up your language skills in Spanish, or maybe you'll write 500 words every single day. Maybe you'll practice the piano every evening or hit balls on the range at the community golf course. The point is, no matter what your circumstances, you can move closer to your goals each and every day.

But you have to want to. And you have to want to enough to actually do it.

What are you doing today?

For much more about making choices that move you forward in your chosen direction and having meaning and purpose in your life, and that enhance your inner well-being, have a look at my book Rewiring the Soul: Finding the Possible Self, available at Amazon as a paperback or e-book for Kindle and all Kindle applications.
